2027 Giving Campaign
When you give, you make an impact on others. If we are All In, we can change our community in such dramatic ways. Every time a volunteer sings at worship, a group of youth is confirmed, a mission trip heads to Guatemala, or a baby is baptized, it is partially due to another person’s generosity.
In addition, as members, we are committed to supporting the mission and ministries of Belle Meade UMC through our prayers, presence, and gifts. The act of pledging is a chance for members of the church to show their commitment to the church's future ministry and missions. We want that gift to be intentional, as it is not only a financial ask but a spiritual role for members of the church.
For 2027, we are planning on a budget of $1.2 million.
Over the past 5 years, we have seen our expenses grow at a rate of approximately 4.4% each year. The reality of inflation in our community is exerting pressure on our costs related to enhancing our staffing to provide for membership growth, repairing our aging building, providing support to our community, and maintaining a living wage for our staff. The reality is that our operating budget is growing and we need an additional 6% to 7% of increased member giving to support all the good work that happens here.
Over the next few weeks, we encourage you to be prayerful about how you can contribute to Belle Meade UMC. The intentional act of giving a gift is important, no matter the level of your gift.
