Summer Book Study

The Color of Compromise: The Truth About the American Church’s Complicity in Racism by Jemar Tisby

Tuesdays: June 10-July 29, 2025 - 6:30-7:30 pm ZOOM ONLY

Leader: Dr. Kinny Cosner

“History and Scripture teaches us that there can be no reconciliation without repentance. There can be no repentance without confession. And there can be no confession without truth.” (p. 15 The Color of Compromise) This book is about the in-depth history of  a racially divided American church. And it’s about moving toward courageous Christianity that can foster a more equitable and inclusive environment among God’s people. June 10 will be a get acquainted session, then we will have assigned readings for the following weeks. Attendees will need to purchase the book from Amazon and do the assigned readings prior to each class. Register for the class by contacting Bill Wilkin, wcwilkin@yahoo.com.
