The Sisters Circuit is an innovative and inspiring preaching exchange where four female senior pastors—the first to be appointed to their congregations—will take turns speaking in one another’s home churches.
This unique partnership aims to:
Empower female voices. The circuit elevates the voices and leadership of women in ministry, showcasing their theological depth and pastoral skills to new audiences.
Strengthen inter-church bonds. It builds fellowship and solidarity among different congregations, demonstrating Christian unity across United Methodist churches and challenging us to make a collective kingdom impact.
Bring fresh perspectives. The guest pastors offer new insights and perspectives, providing a revitalizing experience for each congregation.
Rev. Toi King
Rev. Toi King is blessed to serve as the Senior Pastor of Clark Memorial UMC. She has served as an Local Licensed Pastor, Provisional Elder, and Ordained Elder in several churches in the TWK Conference. She has served as the Associate Director of Community Care Fellowship for over ten years. She is a proud Mom of Destani (Milton), Dynasti, and Zackeius and her Grand Dog Kottin.

Rev. Dr. Carol Cavin-Dillon
Rev. Dr. Carol Cavin-Dillon is in her ninth year as the Senior Pastor at West End UMC. She has served as an ordained pastor in churches in the Nashville area since 1996. She and her husband David have two young adult children and will soon be looking for a dog to rescue.

Rev. Dr. Paula Smith
Rev. Dr. Paula Smith is the Senior Pastor of Gordon Memorial UMC. She received an MDIV from Candler School of Theology and a DMIN from Wesley Theological Seminary. Before her full-time ministry, Paula was a licensed physical therapist, holding a Master of Medical Science in Physical Therapy with a concentration in Orthopedics. Paula's greatest joy is sharing her life and ministry with her husband, Bobby, and their adult daughter, Brieanna.

Rev. Sam McGlothlin
Rev. Sam McGlothlin has been blessed to serve at Belle Meade UMC for nine years. She was appointed as Associate Pastor in 2016 and as Senior Pastor in 2020. She is a proud graduate of Vanderbilt Divinity School and her previous career was with Mountain T.O.P. Sam is married to Mark and has two young children.
