Theology 101: Oct & Nov

  • Belle Meade UMC 121 Davidson Road Nashville, TN, 37205 United States (map)

Join us for a new 8 week class every Wednesday night in October and November from 6:00-7:00 PM. This class on the basics of theology is a safe space to ask questions, explore what you believe and why, dig deeper, and find community. The class will be taught by Rev. Sam McGlothlin, Rachel Hagewood, Rev. MaryJane Pierce Norton, and Dr. Brian Sigmon. Teachers will offer instruction for 10-15 minutes and then participants will talk together in small groups. There will be prompting questions to be answered prior to each class, and those assignments will help prepare you for your small group discussion. This is not a come and go class: small groups will work together throughout the whole class, so your attendance will contribute to the small group cohesiveness. If you anticipate missing more than one or two sessions, we ask that you wait to take it the next time it is offered. Please register by Sept 29 to confirm a spot so that we can arrange the small groups accordingly.
